The Quiet Lions 1 Hour Documentary
It began in 1943. Three men involved with the Thai-Burma Railway. One an Australian surgeon, one an Australian machine gunner and the third a Thai trader
THE QUIET LIONS details the lives of Weary Dunlop and Thai river trader Boon Pong during World War II, and their legacy in the form of an exchange program that trains young Thai surgeons in Australia. We see how something remarkably positive can be built out of unspeakable horrors.
“The Quiet Lions” is more than a retrospective of a moment in history. It’s a positive look at the legacy that grew out of the horrors of the prison camps during one of Australia’s darkest chapters. From the primitive instruments shaped out of tin cans in the sweaty jungles 60 years ago, to today’s hi-tech surgery at a Bangkok hospital, “The Quiet Lions” moves compellingly between the “then and now”.
* Featuring remarkable and never seen before interviews with Sir Edward "Weary" Dunlop

Hi-Tech in the African Wild - 3 x 1 hours or 6 x 1/2 hours
IN POST-PRODUCTION Filmed accross Africa In the new series “Hi Tech in the African Wild”, we see at first hand some of the initiatives now under way in Africa to develop and use technology to build new bridges with the animal world - bridges that can be crossed in both directions, allowing each to help the other in unprecedented ways. In each fascinating episode, we engage in a different aspect of these new and adventurous liaisons with the African animal world.
Controversial and sometimes bizarre, “Hi Tech in the African Wild” is a unique insight into the world of those rare individuals working on the frontline of where animals and technology merge
